Short answers below, drawn from our website design and branding work. If your situation does not fit neatly, get in touch and we will give you a straight answer.
Most small business websites in Canada land somewhere in the range of roughly $2,000 to $10,000, depending on page count, custom design, and whether you need features like online booking or e-commerce. A simple brochure site for a Barrie small business sits near the lower end, while a larger site with custom branding and integrations costs more. DASTech builds every site custom to the client, so rather than a boxed package price, you get a clear fixed quote after a short scoping call, based on exactly what your business needs.
A typical small business website takes about 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff to launch. The timeline depends mostly on how quickly you can supply content (text, photos, logos) and how many rounds of feedback we go through. A focused brochure site can move faster, while sites with custom design, e-commerce, or lots of pages take longer. We give you a realistic schedule up front and keep you posted at each stage.
Yes. We set up reliable hosting and handle ongoing maintenance so you do not have to think about it: software updates, security patches, backups, and small content changes. Because we are an IT consultancy first, your website is looked after by the same people who manage business infrastructure every day, not a separate vendor you have to chase. Maintenance is available as a monthly plan, scoped to your site.
Yes. Redesigning an existing WordPress site is one of the most common projects we take on for small businesses near Barrie. We can refresh the look and branding, improve speed and mobile layout, tighten security, and clean up plugins, usually without rebuilding from scratch. We start by reviewing your current site, then recommend whether a redesign on the existing setup or a fresh build is the better use of your budget.
