Most of the people who read these are running a business or a practice, not an IT department, and they need a straight answer to a specific question: what something costs, whether an obligation applies to them, or what to do first after something has gone wrong. Where a topic touches professional or privacy obligations we say what is general guidance and what needs your own advisor.
